The Short Version
Anyone can put a cloth to a window. What produces a genuinely streak free finish is squeegee technique, a solution matched to the water hardness here, and a final pass checking every pane in daylight.
The Part Most Quotes Leave Out
A spotless pane sitting in a track full of grit, behind a screen that has gone grey with a season of pollen, looks half finished from the inside. Worse, the next rain carries all of that straight back onto the glass you just paid for.
So screens come out, get washed separately, dried and refitted. Tracks and sills are cleared of grit, dead insects and standing water. Frames are wiped so the clean pane is not sitting in a dirty border.
Upper floors are routine. We work from ladders on standoffs so no weight lands on your gutter line, or from the ground with a water fed pole system using purified water, which dries without spotting because the minerals have been stripped out.
Mineral spotting on the glass itself is assessed separately. Some of it lifts with treatment and some has etched the surface permanently. We tell you which before you commit.

Worth Knowing
Booking It In The Right Order
Glass goes last. Always. If the roof or the siding is also being done, anything washed above the windows afterwards will spot them, and you will be looking at rinse marks on panes you just paid for.
The order that works is roof, then siding, then concrete, then glass, ideally in one visit. Tell us everything you want doing when you ask for the estimate and we will sequence it properly.
Twice a year suits most Oregon homes, usually after pollen season in late spring and again before the wet months.
Book house washing for the same visit and the siding gets done first, so the glass finishes clean. If the roof needs attention it goes before both, under roof cleaning.

Do you clean inside and out?
Yes, and most customers have both done. Interior work includes floor protection and care around blinds, sills and furniture.
Are screens and tracks included?
Screens are removed, washed and refitted as standard. Tracks and sills are included on a full interior and exterior clean, and are an option on exterior only work.
Can you do second storey windows?
Yes, routinely. Ladders on standoffs, or a water fed pole system from the ground where a ladder cannot be safely footed.
Can you remove hard water stains?
Sometimes. Mineral deposit sitting on the glass often responds to treatment. Where it has etched into the surface it will not fully clear, and we say which yours is.
Do I need to be home?
Not for the exterior. Interior work needs someone there, or a key arrangement.
How often should windows be done?
Twice a year suits most homes here. Late spring once the pollen has finished, and again before the wet months set in.
